Atlantia BaseCamp is the foundation for Atlantia Competence Tools, and all other tools are tied together with this main module.
Atlantia BaseCamp is set up for all customers with a design customized to the customers existing website or wishes. We can also make a design from scratch.
Atlantia Competence Tools is 100% internet-based, and Atlantia hosts the solution from our servers. We can set it up to use a subdomain with Atlantia, yourname.atlantia.no, or set up your own top level domain or subdomain, e.g. yourname.com or training.yourname.com.
This way, the solution will be linked to the customers own website, and visitors will see it as an integrated part of the other offerings.
Atlantia BaseCamp contains the user database, and manages logins, logging out, forgotten passwords, user permissions and so on. When we set it up, a superuser with the customer is created. This superuser can register new users and do everything, including creating other superusers.
Users can be organized in groups, and get permissions according to the group they belong to.
Atlantia BaseCamp also contains a menu for accessing the other tools. This is available after login, and will vary based on the tools the company has access to, and what the user has permissions to access.
All registered users can log in and get access to "My page". Here they'll find all the courses from eLearningAdmin the user has access to, a list of upcoming courses from CourseAdmin, available surveys from Surveys, and a complete history over finished courses, with the ability to download summaries, diplomas, and give feedback and take tests tied to the course.
BaseCamp and the rest of Atlantia Competence Tools is available in norwegian and english, and is set up to be easily translatable to other languages. If this is interesting, contact us.
Atlantia Contacts is the company's shared location for registering contacts and activities with these. Keep track of customers, suppliers, partners etc. and track important activities and communications.
Atlantia Contacts is focused around contacts, either as a company—which can group together other contacts—or a person. Add emails, phone numbers, Skype-names and addresses—both online and offline, birth dates, positions and more.
Avoid having to search through a whole lot of emails with the same subject just to find that one mail where something important was said.
Atlantia Contacts lets you create multiple activities for each contact, and these contain a title, date, type and a text area for making your own notes. You can also attach as many files as you need to each activity.
Each contact has a picture to easier separate the various contacts from each other.
To prevent all the work with adding your own images, we first try the service Gravatar to see if the contact has chosen an image there.
Gravatar or globally recognizable avatar is a service where the user adds an email address and an image, and other sites can display that picture without forcing the user to create yet another account, uploading yet another picture. It is also easier for the user to change the image, since changing it on Gravatar changes it everywhere the gravatar is used.
If the email address is registered with Gravatar, we use that image as a default, but you can still pick another image for the contact afterwards. If the contact has multiple emails, we try them all, and you can choose between the results.
With Atlantia CourseAdmin you can arrange and have full control of all arranged courses. Create participants, classrooms, instructors, documentation, equipment, and so on. Arrangements is displayed in the calendar. When the course is done, a diploma can be printed for each participant.
The course calendar gives you a quick overview of what is happening when. To show as much information as possible at a glance, each course group has their own color combination. By hovering over one of the arrangements with the cursor, the most important facts is presented, and more available by clicking. There is also a printer friendly version of the calendar.
Each participant can access the diploma from My Page after finishing the course, or a superuser can download and print for all the participants to hand out in person, or send in the mail.
Never again rush at the last minute because you forgot to order a taxi for picking up the course participants at the airport. Atlantia CourseAdmin comes with a practical checklist where you can define tasks to be done before, during and after the course. Check the box immediately after doing the task, and let Atlantia CourseAdmin take care of remembering what to do, and what remains.
Together with
WebTest,
the course arrangements in
CourseAdmin
can be associated with tests that can be used to check the skill level before a training exercise (pre-test), or a test to see if the participants learned what they were supposed to. The tests can be run directly on the computer via
My Page,
or be printed and done on paper. The superuser can then gather reports for one arrangements, all arrangements for one course, groups of participants and so on.

Atlantia CourseBuilder lets you produce your own e-learning courses using a easy to use user interface where you easily split the course into modules and steps, drag and drop images or video, adds text and creates exercises. The entire course is then synchronized with audio.
When the course is finished, you just press "Publish", wait a minute, and the course is ready to run.
We have made custom-made courses for companies for over ten years, and have noticed that the companies often have one or more employees with the knowledge the course is meant to communicate. By using Atlantia CourseBuilder, the company will be able to create e-learning quickly and easily on their own.
Atlantia CourseBuilder is made so the client can do everything from beginning to end on their own. We have much experience producing scripts, images, audio, video, animation and other components, and can therefore offer guidance, or do the whole job with one or more of these steps.
Keep the users engaged and help them repeat the material by adding exercises throughout the course. This increases the interactivity and helps the users remember the message. In Atlantia CourseBuilder you can easily add different kinds of exercises to the course.
To verify that the participant has understood the course you can add a final test to the course. Using Atlantia WebTest you can create a test and tie it together with the course. The test will be made available at the end of the course, the answers are logged, and is available in the reports for a superuser. The report lets you know questions that are often answered wrong, and can give an indication that the topic needs more time, or that the question can be misunderstood. When the test is passed, the participant or the superuser can print a diploma.
All the courses published with Atlantia CourseBuilder is made according to SCORM 2004 4th Edition, a standard for structuring e-learning courses. By using a common standard, other courses following the standard can be used directly in Atlantia's systems, or the courses produced with Atlantia CourseBuilder can be used in other systems following the standard.
eLearningAdmin
is the company's LMS (Learning Management System) for the e-learning,
and is the tool we recommend to get the most out of the courses made with Atlantia
CourseBuilder.
Atlantia
eLearningAdmin

CoursePlanner lets you build a course structure (e-learning and classroom courses) with topics, duration, target groups, learning goals etc. in a systematic way. The course structure can then easily be exported to the e-learning tool CourseBuilder for putting the course together.
We have more than 10 years experience developing e-learning, and have found this process to be effective, and give good results. That's why we built CoursePlanner around this process.
An outline describing the main topics of the course, including learning goals, target group, durations etc.
Developing the manuscript starts after the outline is approved. The manuscript details exactly what is to be said, text to show on screen, animations, videos, images, exercises and so on that will be added to the course.
When working on the course, it is possible to add comments to modules and steps, so you can easily discuss the contents, keeping the discussion together with the contents in question.
All changes in the course is logged, including the time and who changed it, as well as a field for custom notes.
A list of graphics can be generated from the manuscript. This list gives an overview of which visual elements that are to be added or found, who is responsible for the task, and which visual elements are remaining.
The manuscript can also be used to generate an audio manuscript, containing only what is to be said in the course, perfect for handing over to a studio for recording.
When the course is done, and the manuscript approved, you need only press a button to set up the course in CourseBuilder. From there you upload audio and visual elements, and put together the course as you want it.

You can easily create, organize and share documentation using Atlantia DocumentMan. There is no longer a need to send documents as email attachments for comments and changes, with the ensuing uncertainty regarding versions and where you saved it.
Documents are created and edited in an online editor. The editor fully supports common text formatting as used in Microsoft Word and similar software. You can easily upload and insert images, create advanced tables and link to other sites.
There is no longer any need to keep important documents various places on your harddrive, file servers and so on. There's also no need to download and upload files just to be able to edit it.
Documents are organized in a logical and user-friendly way using directories and subdirectories, nested as deep as you want to go.
Each document and directory can have a set of own permissions determining who can read, edit, delete and create documents and folders. You can also give special groups, like signed in users, guests and so on access to the document or folder.
Each time the document is updated and changes saved, a new version of the document is created. This happens automatically, and makes it possible to see earlier versions and the differences between them easily, or revert to an earlier version.
Atlantia eLearningAdmin is Atlantia's LMS (Learning Management System) for organizing, running and reporting for e-learning courses.
We have made a easy to use wizard for giving access to courses where you pick the users from a tree structure. You can also choose how many times the user can repeat the course.
The licenses are created, and the users have access to the course from My Page immediately.
Every learning situation has its share of questions, and with e-learning it can often be hard to get ahold of someone capable of answering questions. That's why each course has a button for sending feedback, and each course can have an unlimited number of contacts registered, with a easy to use web interface for managing the contacts.
The user only has to click the button for sending feedback in the framework, fill it out, and press send.
We store this, and send an email to all the registered contacts including what the user wrote, and who wrote it. A copy is automatically sent to Atlantia, in case the question or comment is of a technical kind, and is something we will handle.
Each course has a separate report to easily see who has access to the course, and the status. This shows the users, when they started, when they finished, and the results from the final test, if any. You can easily search for a person, or sort on all the fields.
It's also possible to go the other way, and look at all the courses one person has access to. That's why eLearningAdmin also has an individuals report:
By choosing one of the persons you'll get a list of courses that person can access:
Atlantia eLearningAdmin supports SCORM 2004, a standard for structuring e-learning courses. By using a shared standard, other e-learning courses that follows the standard can be used in Atlantia's systems without modifications.
The course, when running, consists of a framework with the course name, buttons, navigations and so on, and a content window where the course itself is run. We can create a framework where the design is customized using the company colors, logo, etc. The courses will then appear as belonging to the company.

Atlantia FeedBack lets you collect feedback for completed courses to find out if there are areas that can be improved, and what the participants think of the arrangement. Atlantia FeedBack can be used for both e-learning and traditional courses. The feedback is submitted directly using a PC, or the form can be printed and filled out on paper.
A evaluation form is made through a easy to use interface where you can create multiple choice questions, where the user makes one or more choices, evaluation matrices, or free text.
It is of course possible to get various reports, both as graphs online, or printer-friendly PDFs.
The simplest way is for the participants to hand in the evaluation through My Page, but sometimes this isn't doable or desirable, for example a course where there isn't internet access, or not enough computers for all the participants. For those times you can print the evaluation form, hand it out, and add the results to the database later on.
A superuser can at any time add results for the participants who hasn't responded yet. They'll get a dropdown for choosing the participant, or the company if it is an anonymous evaluation, and everything else happens normally.

Atlantia NewsTool lets you create and publish news and newsletters for your company. It can either be used as a tool for internal news in the company, or news for everyone (customers etc.), through a basic visibility selection. The design for the newsletters can be adapted with layout, colors, images and logo, so it appears as part of the company profile.
You can also create news just for use in newsletters. This features is meant for smaller news for one or more internal newsletters, but is not limited to this. These news are hidden from the website and feed for everyone except the superusers.
Create news and publish on the website. Add a header, excerpt and the body text. Upload an image if you want. When you are finished with the contents, you can decide when to publish the article, and who can see it. The article appears on the site for the right users, and can be added to a newsletter.
With Atlantia NewsTool you can create marvelous newsletters and send out to interested persons, either internally in the company, or to customers, or a mix.
Interested persons can sign up themselves, or the superuser can create lists and add persons manually.
Atlantia NewsTool fully supports RSS-feeds, so everyone who wants to keep up to date can get the news delivered to their browser, or application, without checking the site. If you are signed in, you'll get a custom feed containing all the news only for signed in users as well as the others.
Browsers like Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari and Firefox have support for RSS built in, so if you use one of these you don't need an application to read the feed, and can just click the link.
If you need an application, Google Reader, is a free, web-based feed reader.
With Atlantia ResourceAdmin you can plan the use of, and keep track of the various resources available to the company. Create work assignments, vacations, meetings, etc., and see it all in a easy-reference calendar.
You can register people, locations and equipment as resources. The people is fetched from the registered people in BaseCamp. Locations and equipment is registered manually, or they can be imported from CourseAdmin if the company has access.
ResourceAdmin is ready to be used with common activity types. These can easily be edited, or new ones created.
Activities can be created easily, and after selecting dates and resources, the system checks and notifies if any scheduling conflicts are detected.
The calendar shows all the registered resources with their activities. Choose between showing the next five months, or focus down on a single month or a week. You can of course also move backwards and forwards in time as you wish.
Atlantia SurveyTool lets you create and follow up user surveys, customer satisfaction, etc. through a easy to use web-based interface.
A survey is created through a easy to use interface where you can add multiple choice questions, where the user makes one or more choices, evaluation matrices, or free text.
The survey can be edited right up until it gets its first answer, when it is locked for edits to prevent skewing the results. To begin with, each survey is deactivated, and therefore invisible to everyone except the superusers. A superuser has to activate it before it works, and can deactivate the survey if it is only meant to be active for a certain time frame.
Each survey has three possible states. You can switch between these as long as the survey can be edited.
The results from the survey can be shown online, through interactive graphs, or be downloaded as a PDF or an Excel-workbook. The PDF is just a printer-friendly version of the graphs, while the Excel-workbook has all the raw numbers and is well suited for continuing analyzing, graphing or exporting to other systems.
Atlantia WebTest lets you create tests that are tied together with e-learning courses or traditional courses. The tests are answered by the participants directly with a PC, or can be printed and done on paper. The tests can also be used to check the skill level before a training activity (pre-test) and use the same test again after the course to document an increase in the skill level. The tool can also be used to check the skill level for a specific area, and use to evaluate what training activities that should be initiated, and what to focus on.
The tests consist of an unlimited amount of multiple choice questions where the question can have one, or several, correct alternatives.
The simplest way is for the participants to do the test through My Page, but that's not always an option, for example a course where there isn't internet access, or not enough computers for all the participants. Therefore, the test can be printed and handed out, and the responses added to the database at a later time.
A superuser can, at any time, add responses manually for participants who hasn't handed in their test yet. They'll get a dropdown for choosing the participant, and everything else happens normally.
The results are shown as a “donut” where the inner circle shows the parts who answered right or wrong for the question, and the outer ring shows the alternatives, and the percentage that chose that alternative. By hovering the cursor over one of the sectors, you'll see the exact number of persons.
A superuser can show all the results for a test, or for a single user. The result in green means the test is passed, and red is failed.
